On 27th September 1983 Mizoram Rural Bank started. It comes under the Regional Rural Bank Act 1976 and the important thing is, it is spread in all the district and state by RRB. It should be noted that it covers more than 8 districts and 25 RD blocks including 1 urban and 11 semi-urban centers. RRB is giving its facilities to the 10.91 lakhs state population covering the area more than 21081 sq.km.
