Register Mobile Number in Indian Overseas Bank (IOB)
- The first method is to give a missed call to 04442220004, from your registered mobile number. Just after the missed call you will receive a text message from the banks message portal mentioning about your account’s current balance and last four digits of your account number just in order to check that you have got the details for the correct account number. Registration of the mobile number can be at the time of the account opening, or if you missed at that time then also you can register your mobile number by simply visiting the bank branch once and give an application in written to the bank manager. In addition to the balance enquiry through the missed call you will also get the other account details such as credit and debit transactions.
- You can also use the IOB mobile application by downloading from here. Just register using your account details and generate a password which is required for this application. After that you can check your account balance apart from other details. You can also complete transactions from the application only so no need to visit the bank anymore.
Important Note:
Without Registered Mobile number with Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) you cannot check your account balance via Missed call service.
I’ve tried several times for my balance available by missed calls to the nos 04442220004 from my registered mobile no…but in vein…never I received any message.why ?
